About Us
Our Story – Why MSDC Began
Every parent dreams of seeing their child succeed in school, build friendships, and grow with confidence. But for many families, conditions like ADHD, or Dyslexia make this journey harder than expected. At Mind Skills Development Centre (MSDC), we understand those challenges deeply. We know the frustration when teachers don’t understand your child’s unique needs. We know the heartbreak of watching your child feel left out or struggle to keep up in class. That’s why MSDC was founded. Our story began with Vimla Lalla, an experienced educator and certified facilitator who spent years working with children who learned differently. Through her work, she saw one truth repeated over and over: with the right support, every child has the ability to thrive. MSDC was created as more than a learning center. It was designed as a safe space for children and families—a place where differences are not only accepted but celebrated, and where every child is given the tools to shine in their own way.

Meet Vimla Lalla
(Founder & Director of MSDC)
Vimla Lalla is the heart and vision behind MSDC. With a career dedicated to helping children with learning differences, she has impacted the lives of countless families through her compassionate and structured approach.
Certifications & Qualifications
- Certified Davis™ Dyslexia Facilitator – Trained and licensed by Davis Dyslexia Association International (USA).
- Certified Brain Gym® Practitioner – Breakthroughs International, California, USA.
- Diploma in Montessori Education – Specializing in independent, practical learning approaches.

Vimla has years of experience working with children who face challenges in reading, writing, focus, math, and communication. Her unique approach blends evidence-based methods with creativity and empathy, ensuring that every child feels valued and capable.

My child was with Ms Vimla in Mind Skills Development Centre. During his period my son picked up on vocabulary, reading, writing and interacting with other kids. He improved a lot by the time he was school ready. She has been a mother to my child and her teaching style and method are impeccable.
